We note with some interest the recent passing of our esteemed colleague and fellow professional godbotherer, the Rev. Oral Roberts. It appears he was "called home" on the fifteenth of December. We presume for Consultations. In particular with regard to associating in public with plaid upholstery fabrics of a Clearly Satanic Design. (When will Christians stop giving Intelligent Design mere lip service and actually COMMIT TO IT?!)
BTW, it was reported by the AP that the "evangelist was hospitalized after a fall on Saturday." We understand that it is a long-standing and much celebrated tradition in the Bible Belt to fall on Saturday night, repent and then rise again on Sunday morning. Apparently the dear old codger still had it in him at ninety one!
Practice may not make perfect, but it certainly builds stamina! Hallelujah!
