Spiritually Promiscuous or Promiscuously Spiritual?

Can one be Spiritually Promiscuous and/or Promiscuously Spiritual? Ought one be such things?

The short answer is, of course, yes. The long answer is, of course, longer. And requires dangerously intellectual heavy lifting. (WARNING: If you suffer from a herniated or otherwise damaged intelligence, please read no further.)

The word "promiscuous" is defined as involving "indiscriminate mingling or association". Can one be spiritually indiscriminate? Is that a bad thing? A great way to test out the truth of a moral assertion is to turn it around and look at it from the other direction. The opposite of "spiritually indiscriminate" would imply that one ought discriminate when being spiritual. Ah HA! There you have it! What vicious nonsense THAT would be! When is discrimination a spiritual thing? Hello?!

Let us go a step further - a common antonym for the word "promiscuous" is the word "chaste". "Chaste" is defined as "refraining from sexual intercourse". Can you be spiritual ONLY when you are refraining from sexual intercourse? Should you be? Of course not. You want to be (and ARE, for that matter) spiritual at all times and in all situations. Spirituality and sexuality are, well, like breathing. Would you want to be spiritual and sexual only when not breathing? Of course not. Too many people out there die from an excess of auto-spiritual asphyxiation? Breathe deep, world and celebrate (not celibate) your omnipresent and fabulous spirituality.

So yes, go out and be spiritually promiscuous as well as promiscuously spiritual. Take all the lovely spiritual-ness you can lay your hands on and mix it together into a wonderful nourishing ragoût with which to feed a too hungry world!
